How do I book an appointment?

To book a tattoo, piercing, or microblading appointment simply click on the "Book Now" link below or email info@montauktattoo.com . A non-refundable deposit is required for all appointments. No exceptions.

What is the deposit/billing policy?

All deposits are non-refundable. No exceptions.

For multi-session tattoos, the deposit will be held as payment towards the last session of the tattoo.

Upon paying a deposit Client acknowledges that they have communicated their tattoo design idea to their satisfaction, and have reviewed Artist’s prior works to decide that the Artist can implement the idea to their satisfaction.

Client understands that creating a tattoo design based on the Client’s concept is subjective, and that variations may exist between the concept and the finished design. If the finished design is not to Client’s liking, minor changes will be made at the Artist's discretion. Client agrees and understands that substantial changes to the design or the request of an entirely new drawing or draft will require a new deposit, and the original deposit will be forfeited as payment for the Artist's drawing time.

A deposit will also be forfeited in full in the case of:
Client does not appear for a tattoo appointment. Clients who "no show" without contacting the studio will not be rebooked for rescheduled.
Client cancels or reschedules an appointment without giving at least 48 hours notice;
Client arrives more than 15 minutes late to a tattoo appointment;
Client reschedules more than once for any sessions of the same tattoo, regardless of notice;
Client fails to reschedule a new appointment within 30 days of a cancelled appointment.

Billing Policy

I understand that I will be billed at the Artist’s current hourly rate starting at my scheduled appointment time, for all tattooing and tattooing related services, including, but not limited to:
Time used to edit or resize the tattoo design if needed;
Time used to apply tattoo stencils to the body;
Time used to assemble tattoo equipment and open sanitary supplies in front of Client, or to replenish necessary supplies during the tattoo session;
All breaks during the tattoo appointment requested by Client.
Lateness on Client’s part of 1-15 minutes for any reason.
Any touch-up work needed as a result of negligent aftercare of the tattoo, or any touch-up work requested 6 months or more after the initial application of the tattoo.  Touch up tattoos on extremities (hands, fingers, feet, toes, ears, or face) are done at the client's own expense and are not covered.

How do I care for my new tattoo?

TATTOO AFTERCAREWith clean hands, remove the Tegaderm the following morning.Gently wash the tattoo with antibacterial soap and lukewarm water, cleaning off all the excess ink, blood, and plasma. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.Once completely dry, apply the new Tegaderm completely covering the tattoo. Leave the Tegaderm on for 3 full days.  On Day 4 remove the Tegaderm with clean hands and wash the tattoo with antibacterial soap.
For the next 2 weeks, 2 times per day, until healed, repeat process:
1. Wash hands well with antibacterial soap2. Wash tattoo with antibacterial soap3. Pat dry with paper towel. Allow to air dry.4. Once tattoo is dry, apply a thin layer of Curel. Keep the tattoo moisturized throughout the day.
No sun, no swimming or submerging the tattoo for a minimum of 14 days. 
The healing process can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks or sometimes longer depending on your body.It is natural for the tattoo to peel, flake, slightly scab or get itchy. Do not scratch or pick at the tattoo. This can damage the tattoo and lead to infection. If it becomes itchy, apply a thin layer of moisturizing lotion. How do I care for my new piercing?

Please follow these guidelines carefully to ensure proper healing and avoid irritation or infection.DAILY CARESpray your piercing with sterile saline once per day before showering.In the shower, allow clean running water to rinse over the piercing for about one minute to help loosen and remove buildup.After showering, gently pat the area dry using a clean paper towel, removing any softened buildup.Use a blow dryer on a cool setting to fully dry the back of the piercing. GENERAL CARE TIPSAvoid touching or twisting your jewelry.Do not sleep on cartilage piercingsKeep hair clean and away from the piercing, especially while healing.Do not go to sleep with wet hair, as this can trap moisture and irritate the area.SWIMMINGIf you go swimming, spray the piercing with sterile saline immediately afterward.JEWELRY ADJUSTMENTReturn for a downsize appointment in 6-8 weeks, or as advised by your piercer.Proper aftercare is essential for healing.
